Here’s the Stapleford Park wedding of Sonni and Elliott, who had the most full-on day with wonderful celebrations and Jewish marriage traditions. Here we are at the Leicestershire wedding venue itself, near Melton Mowbray.
Sonni wore this stunning Paul Zeni designed gown from Hampden Brides with jewellery from Tiffany.
What a fabulous idea for your bridesquad – robes customised with their names.
Sonni’s summer bouquet and the rest of the wedding flowers were created by Sophie’s Flower Company.
Sonni is helped into her wedding dress and veil.
Sonni’s father sees her for the first time in her wedding dress – what an emotional moment!
Meanwhile, Elliott is getting ready with his best man and groomsmen.
Elliott and his team are all ready for the badeken, when he will see Sonni for the first time on their wedding day.
The Sheva Brachot or seven blessings are read as part of the ceremony.
Groom Elliott stamps on a glass to break it as one of the last parts of their wedding ceremony.
Kisses and hugs all round!
Just a bit of paperwork to finish …
Time to celebrate on the lawn with gin and hors d’oeuvres.
We took some traditional family group photos – here are a few of them.
Sonni, Elliott and I made the most of Stapleford Park’s gorgeous grounds with some wedding portraits. I could take photos of these two here all day!!
Some more beautiful wedding flowers from Sophie’s Flower Company, as we get ready to celebrate Sonni and Elliott’s wedding. Let’s start with dancing, shall we?
Sonni and Elliott are carried into the air on chairs by their wedding guests.
Blessings, kind words and breaking a large Challah – a fabulous part of the day.
Finally, it was time for Sonni and Elliott to take to the dance floor on their own, for the traditional first dance.
