Essendon Country Club – Algerian Muslim Wedding

What an absolutely stunningly beautiful Algerian winter wedding for Shenaz and Sofiane at Essendon Country Club, Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Sofiane and Shenaz’s winter barn themed wedding was just perfect for the traditional Algerian Muslim celebration they’d hoped for.

Shenaz chose to get ready in the stunning Mayfair suite at The Manor Elstree set in grounds of the most tranquil Elstree, Hertfordshire Country Hotel. 

Their wedding was slightly different with the Shenaz changing into three dresses, starting with the traditional English white lace chiffon dress from the Galina Signature collection at David’s Bridal, in Hertfordshire. Shenaz chose Lorriane from Lorraine Newark,  for her amazing and beautiful loose curls. But Shenaz chose to do her own make-up as she really wanted to keep it so naturally soft and beautiful. 

Let’s not forgot how dashing Sofiane looked in his absolutely dashing hand-made french navy, made to measure suit from Louis Purple – Paris. It was also so wonderful to see how all their guests had chosen such vivid and bright coloured outfits to wear, bringing so much colour to their wedding.

For the evening Shenaz made two changes into two incredible Algerian outfits. Firstly, she chose a Chedda dress which is considered in Tlemcen, as the most expensive and the most beautiful dress that the bride wears on the day of her wedding. This garment is traditionally worn by brides with other jewels such as djouhar cultures pearls. And secondly, Shenaz changed into her third traditional Algerian outfit. Which was incredible to see how much attention to detail was made on this outfit. Shenaz had spent a lot of time and passion on choosing her outfits for her very special day.
